Dear Classmates,
Plans for the 20 year reunion are coming along! We've got a fantastic venue, a delicious menu in mind, a DJ willing to dust off his 80s tapes, and a lot of favorable response from the class. If you haven't already heard about the reunion, read on!
On the Saturday evening of Thanksgiving weekend 2008 (November 29th to be exact), we're going to reunite our class for a fun evening of memories at The Landmark in East Rutherford. We've reserved a block of rooms at a local hotel for those grads visiting from out-of-town, see Hotel Info. So far, we've got a grad coming from as far away as Florida (yeah Kim Wohleking) and we're working on getting one in from Spain (that's a soft-sell for Nancy Villanueva). Aren't you the least bit curious to know where your classmates wound up or what they're doing? Classmates.com doesn't come close to quenching that curiosity, but the reunion might!
Did you know that there were 272 people in our graduating class? QPHS provided us with a list of grads, but some mailing addresses or email addresses are no longer valid. We're endeavoring to find as many classmates as we can to make them aware of the reunion, so please spread the word especially to those we cannot reach. Alternatively, send us the grad's email or contact info and we'll contact them directly. For a list of people who have already sent in their RSVPs, see Who’s Coming? or read the entries in the Guestbook.
The cost of the reunion is $90 per person and includes open bar, buffet dinner, and great music; school uniforms, Members Only jackets, and 80s hair optional. If you wish to come, please print out the RSVP form and send it in with your check ASAP. For grads who have already submitted their $50 deposit - THANK YOU! With your deposit money, we were able to satisfy our contractual obligations with our catering facility and DJ. You can send in your remaining balance of $40 per person any time up until October 1, 2008. And, send us your photos, whether you plan to come to the reunion or not so fellow classmate and webmaster, Scott Hughes, can add you to the reunion webpage.
We look forward to seeing you in November. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.
